Western Sydney design firm, Idraft Group (IDRAFT), has welcomed the approval of its 17-storey residential and retail tower in Harris Park, thanks to its design excellence as assessed by an expert panel.
IDRAFT Director, Frank Cozzupoli, said the apartment development was approved following recommendations from Parramatta City Council’s Design Excellence Advisory Panel and Design Integrity Panel.
Mr Cozzupoli, said the development, at 22 Parkes Street, consisted of 59 apartments and one retail outlet.
“We are delighted that our application has been approved on the basis that it contains a level of design excellence,” Mr Cozzupoli said.
“Led by our General Manager Michael Trinh, the IDRAFT team presented an innovative design, comprising residential and retail space, communal facilities and underground parking.
“The building will have an iconic lantern structure at the top four-storeys of the building which distinguishes it other residential developments in Harris Park.
“IDRAFT is pleased to be assisting Council in its urban renewal of the Harris Park precinct and providing a modern built form to present the region’s best face to a corridor that will continue to play a pivotal role in ongoing development.
