Pellicano Group lodge 20-level tower in Woolloongabba

Pellicano Group have lodged a proposal for a new mixed-use residential tower in Brisbane's inner south.

Located at 855 Stanley Street, Woolloongabba - directly across the road from the Gabba Stadium and within 150m of the Logan Road antiques precinct - the 20-level tower comprises 133 apartments, retail and commercial uses.

DBI Design, the proposal features a 15 storey residential tower atop a 5 level podium. The apartment mix is consistent on each level with 1 x 1 bedroom apartment, 7 x 2 bedroom apartments and 1 x 3 bedroom apartment.

The podium at ground level connects Stanley and Trafalgar Streets with 950 square metres of retail space along with a pedestrian link.

The roof of the podium contains the buildings private open space and communal space which include a resident's pool, recreational lounge, bbq areas and outdoor gardens.

Eastwood residential development which is under construction and reported to be 85% sold.
