Metrics Scraps Box Hill Hotel Scheme for 28-Storey Apartment Tower

A site in Melbourne’s Box Hill once earmarked for a 15-storey hotel is being re-envisioned as an apartment tower nearly twice the size of previous plans.
A ministerial permit application has been submitted for the parcel at 702-706 Station Street, 14km east of the Melbourne CBD.
The applicant is Metrics Credit Partners, which took over the site after developer APH Holding collapsed in 2024, marking a trend for non-bank lender Metrics taking on projects when developers it financed failed.
