Strong Early Sales At Dusit Thani Brookwater Resort

B

First sales have been achieved at the luxury $550 million Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort at Brookwater in South-East Queensland.

Property services group Oliver Hume, which is marketing the project on behalf of joint venture partners World Group UK and Maxsen Capital Hong Kong, said it has sold 83 apartments in the last month.

The Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort will feature 520 apartments, a Central Resort Pavilion of 15,000sqm, six Private Clubs including the Dusit Executive Club, The Central Recreation Club, International Tennis Club, Family Club and South Rec Club, plus a 12,000 sqm Retail Emporium.

It will also have a world-class state of the art conference, convention and exhibition centre, all centred around Queensland’s Number 1 ranked Greg Norman Golf Course.

The new resort, which is the largest foreign invested project of its type in Australian history, will be operated by luxury resort group Dusit International under its flagship brand Dusit Thani.

The resort’s first stage is worth $110 million and will include 168 luxury apartments overlooking Brookwater Golf Course.

Oliver Hume Joint Managing Director Marcus Buskey said the Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort was an exceptional opportunity for investors to secure high-quality and prestigious assets.

“This project will be a benchmark for high-end golf resorts – not only in South East Queensland, but in Australia," Mr Buskey said.

"Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort is a major development that will bring economic and social benefits for the community.

“We are keen to support Dusit Thani in the delivery of this milestone project. Our strong track record, combined with our network of contracts, wealth of resources and experience, will ensure that we achieve an optimal outcome for the project.”

The project is the latest edition to Oliver Hume’s Queensland portfolio and extends the group’s control to over 11,000 land lots and more than 1,000 new apartments in Queensland. Nationally, Oliver Hume markets over 5,000 units per year.

Upon completion, Brookwater Golf and Spa Resort will feature 520 apartments with an end value of $1 billion.
