Builder-developer RCQ has filed a scheme to replace a strip of shops on the main street of Caloundra with three resort-style buildings that include a hotel and apartments.
The eight lots at 126-140 Bulcock Street would be transformed into a 13-storey complex with ground-floor retail, according to the plans submitted to the Sunshine Coast Council.
RCQ principal Ric Peterson told The Urban Developer it was a cracking site that they had had their eyes on for sometime.
