Capital Corporation has revealed Dasco will build the first 128 apartments of its Wahroonga Estate development.
Work is now poised to begin on a residential component, the Residences, of the $1.5-billion masterplan on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
This will be the first partnership between the two companies.
Dasco’s portfolio includes the multi-award-winning East Village development at Zetland. The company has maintained a 4.5-star iCIRT rating for three consecutive years.
Construction is to begin within coming months ahead of completion by late 2027.
The 31.4ha site development centres around an integrated health precinct surrounding the Sydney Adventist Hospital, NSW’s largest private hospital with more than 700 beds.
Construction of the first stage will comprise three six-storey buildings of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments.
The development includes pet-friendly amenities such as a dedicated dog wash bay, as well as barbecue areas and extensive landscaping connecting to the neighbouring Coups Creek bushland.
Wellness features include 47 apartments offering infrared saunas through a partnership with Kiva Wellness.
The broader masterplan has delivered key infrastructure, including Sydney Adventist Hospital’s (or San Hospital) expansion to 90,000sq m, a new hospital entry intersection, relocation and expansion of the Wahroonga Adventist School and construction of the new Parkway San Clinic.
A new high school, retail and medical suites, as well as construction of 15,000sq m of student and key worker accommodation, are also part of the masterplan.
The project is Dasco’s largest Upper North Shore build to date, adding to a portfolio that includes developments at Willoughby, St Leonards, Frenchs Forest and Roseville.
The Residences at Wahroonga Estate was a finalist in the Excellence in Project Marketing category in The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence 2025.
