Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) have recently unveiled plans for a residential project to be built in Sweden's capital Stockholm.
Located on the edge of Gärdet, a popular national park, a conscious effort was made through the design to be sensitive to the natural landscape while allowing residents to have spectacular views.
Making up four rectangular sections surrounding a communal courtyard, each of the parts helps to create the distinctive slope, similar to their Two World Trade Centre facade.
According to
gizmag the building will cover 20,000 square metres with apartments ranging in size from 134 square metres to 37 square metres. Each apartment has 1-6 rooms, an open plan kitchen, living area and terrace.
Dezeen, BIG said, "In further deference to Gärdet, the massing is visually reduced through a language of pixels, scaled to the human form.
