AD Group Expands into House and Land Market

Off-the-plan property media and technology specialist AD Group is marking its 11th year in business with a significant milestone by launching its Development ID platform into the house and land sector.

Development ID is a platform which automates the inventory management and contract administration process for developers and project marketers whilst also housing a marketplace that connects its clients’ projects to over 6000 partner agents.

The proptech company finalised a partnership with full-service property business RPM Group, who collaborated with AD Group, providing feedback on the ‘Connect’ component of Development ID for the house and land market and have implemented the platform on their projects such as their Parkside Collective projects—in particular, Parkside Deanside.

Working together

RPM Built Form’s managing director, Luke Kelly, said that after the team’s key role in collaborating with AD Group to expand Development ID’s platform to accommodate house and land projects, they were excited to launch their first project on to the platform.

“After collaborating with AD Group on developing this platform for the house and land market and understanding the benefits of the stock inventory management function, plus the subsequent evolution of the ‘Connect’ function that acts as an online marketplace for partner agents, we were keen to implement this on our projects,” Luke said.

After operating exclusively in the off-the-plan medium and high-density space since 2016, AD Group is proud to penetrate the house and land market with its Development ID platform with its foundation partner Capital Corporation on its Lovedale Farm project in the Hunter Valley, together with sales agents Colliers Residential.

Industry relationships

AD Group co-founder and managing director Tom Hywood said this latest launch was testament to the group’s industry relationships and another achievement in penetrating the house and land market.

“This is an outstanding milestone for Development ID and another significant step into creating workflow efficiencies for the house and land industry since our launch of our Showcase presentation software for the house and land sector late last year,” Hywood said.

Colliers Residential national director Blake Schulze said, “Colliers Residential has used the Development ID platform since it was launched in 2016, borne out of a want and need for an automatic inventory process.

“As well as streamlining all of our stock inventory and eliminating the need for multiple software systems that results in double-handling, Development ID connects us with thousands of partner agents who want to sell our stock.

“Development ID has been a game-changer for us in the apartment space and our team is thrilled it’s now been tailored to the house and land market as well.”

Single source of truth

Capital Corporation’s senior development manager Sam Petinsky said they chose to implement the Development ID platform at Lovedale Farm after its successful deployment at Wahroonga Estate, and worked closely with the Development ID experts in designing a bespoke house and land solution, specifically co-innovating the ‘Connect’ function.

“Capital Corporation is proud to be AD Group’s Development ID foundation house and land partner with Lovedale Farm,” Petinsky said.

“After experiencing the ease of having a single source of truth for inventory management at Wahroonga Estate rather than relying on multiple programs, we knew Development ID was the way of the future for our house and land estates.”

Strong partnerships

AD Group has forged strong partnerships over the past decade helping off-the-plan developers and project marketers manage their apartment and townhouse stock through the Development ID platform as well as connect them to partner agents, and looks forward to working with more house and land developers in the near future.

“With strong industry partners like RPM and Capital Corporation helping drive innovation across the house and land sector, we’re excited about further expanding Development ID’s impact with more developers in this space,” Hywood said.
