Webinar: Inside the NSW Housing Pattern Book

NSW is on the cusp of a design-led shake-up aimed at tackling the state’s housing supply and diversity challenge—and it’s all in the pages of the new Housing Pattern Book.

This blueprint by the NSW Government will influence the way developers, builders and investors approach medium-density and infill housing across the state. But beyond the policy fanfare, the big question is: how do you take it off the page and put it into the ground?

In an exclusive one-hour webinar, The Urban Developer will bring together the leaders driving the initiative to break it all down—from design typologies and planning pathways to practical delivery methods that work in the real world.

What’s on the table:

  • How to apply the NSW Housing Pattern Book design typologies to your next project

  • The planning approval pathways available and how to navigate them

  • Practical building and delivery methods for successful implementation

  • The commercial and strategic opportunities for developers, builders and investors

You’ll hear from NSW Government Architect Abbie Galvin, HIA’s Brad Armitage, and Department of Planning’s Tom Loomes— three key players who will unpack exactly how this initiative can be applied in the market today.

With housing policy now firmly at the centre of NSW’s growth agenda, this briefing will equip you with the knowledge — and the confidence — to turn a government plan into a commercial reality.
