Traders in Purple has filed plans for an eight-storey residential block, church and 400-seat auditorium as its second partnership with the Anglican Church property arm moves ahead.
The project, in partnership with Sydney Anglican Property and Sustainable Development Group, comprises 47 apartments and the adaptive reuse of the 1924-built parish church on the Lower North Shore.
New midrise planning reforms, designed to encourage and incentivise development close to town centres and established infrastructure, have spurred the plans for the 3763sq m site at 8 Finlayson Street, Lane Cove.
