A 211-apartment tower has been greenlit for Melbourne’s north-east through the Victorian Government’s Development Facilitation Program just two months after it was filed.

Greensborough Central Investments’ 17-storey tower proposed for a 5789sq m site at 106-126 Main Street, Greensborough will comprise 25 per cent social and 75 per cent affordable apartments of one and two bedrooms.

They will be managed by community housing provider Community Housing (Victoria) Limited and provide homes for people on low to moderate incomes.
