The leafy inner-city Brisbane pocket of Ashgrove—known for its classic timber-and-tin Queenslander homes—has been greenlit for a four-storey “luxury urban village”.

Developer Cielo Group is behind the high-end mixed-use project approved for a 2738sq m site at the corner of Waterworks Road and Stewart Place.

To be known as Ilé Ashgrove, the scheme—comprising 6824sq m for retail, food and drink, function facility, indoor sport and recreation, bar and office uses—is touted to herald a new era of high-end lifestyle development in the inner north-west suburb.
