Inner West Sydney gets $88 million Luxury Development

C

Crown Group has announced they will develop a residential tower in the inner-west suburb of Ashfield.

The $88 million development will be located on Liverpool Road with sales expected to commence in March.

Crown Ashfield

will include 101 apartments with views of Sydney’s CBD and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The building was designed by award-winning architects Turner and Associates. It will feature panoramic views, two storey apartments, a sculpted water feature, grand lobby lounge, theatrette and piano room. It will also include an internal atrium that will allow sun and fresh air into the common areas.

Crown Group Chief Executive Officer Iwan Sunito

said his company purchased the 168 Liverpool Road site for development after recognising Ashfield as a strong growth area.

“We recognised this site as an opportunity to build a luxury forward-thinking residential development with exceptional views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city skyline in Sydney’s thriving inner west,” Mr Sunito said.

“Crown Ashfield’s visionary design is unique and a standout among others in the area, with common areas bathed in natural light, landscaped green areas and first-class residents’ amenities.

“Crown Ashfield will be a spacious, light-filled oasis in Sydney’s energetic inner west,” he said.

The apartment’s location means it will be conveniently close to Sydney’s CBD, the University of Sydney, Sydney’s airport, Ashfield Mall and Ashfield train station.

The nine-storey development will include four boutique ground floor retail spaces.

The apartments have already been in high demand with $173 million in sales within four hours of the launch in November.

Crown Group Project Sales Manager Anthony Falas

said “There are very few residential developments in this area catering for those who want the best. Crown Ashfield will feature high-quality finishes, architecturally-designed interiors and resort-style amenities.

“We anticipate this luxury collection of apartments will be very popular,” he said.

It is due for completion in mid-2016.
