First Apartment Building in Hygge’s Adelaide Double-Play Approved

The first of two housing schemes planned by Victoria-based Hygge Property has been greenlit for the site of a shopping centre in the leafy Adelaide locale of Malvern.

 Hygge was last month granted approval for its eight-storey project at the corner of Unley Road and Eton Street. It comprises 68 apartments as well as seven commercial tenancies.

The project is the first approved for Hygge in SA. A second Adelaide development—for the inner-eastern suburb of St Peters—is being assessed by the City of Norwood, Payneham and St Peters after a public consultation period ended this month.
