Property Showcasing at Touch of a Button

8beeb6e4-8c2e-463d-a7c4-62c10fc86b12

The latest in Development ID’s offering to best manage, connect and showcase property portfolios is DevSuite.

Development ID is offered by AD Group in addition to their highly successful off-the-plan property platform Apartments & Developments.

While Development ID was born to offer a highly targeted and specialised solution that lets users easily manage stock, connect and secure sales channels, DevSuite takes these offerings several steps further to seamlessly showcase projects through an interactive display suite platform—all with a touch of a button.

General manager of Development ID Tim Fleming said DevSuite was part of a centralised system that not only provided a complete in-display suite software solution but also allowed investors interstate or offshore to access the web application to showcase projects.

“What really sets it apart is that despite DevSuite being a very technologically advanced showcase system, there’s absolute ease of use for agents,” he said.

“All screens in the suite are controlled via an iPad, Samsung Tab or similar tablet, meaning agents can maximise the impact of their project at display suites, property seminars or wherever they need to present their project with just one click.

“There’s no need for specialised training in how to operate it.”

While the final showcase platform is highly intuitive and easy to use, a lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into creating a bespoke DevSuite experience.

Keith Nicolas, creative director of AD Group leads the team that creates the specialised visual content for the projects.

▲ Development ID’s DevSuite is helping break down distances, borders and travel restrictions.

“We begin by collaborating closely with interior designers and architects to formulate a bespoke customer journey through the project site,” he said.

“It’s more than just videos though—we take a multi-layered approach so viewers experience a uniquely immersive event that best lets them envision the project.

“One of our most recent projects in Shanghai was presented across an interesting space over two levels.

“Despite both our team and the project being based in Melbourne, our mission was to engage customers in Shanghai at the ground level and immerse them in the Melbourne lifestyle.”

“We presented the City of Melbourne as a massive context wall that ran across three separate walls, spanning approximately 10.5m to create a one-of-a-kind experience.

“Our in-house team developed several different films for this element of the display suite tailored to let the Shanghai visitors best envision the local lifestyle on offer.

“This is all controlled easily and intuitively through a simple drop-down menu on DevSuite via the agent’s iPad.

“Just as easily, the agent can also showcase a range of selling points including all the transport options nearby, retailers, dining and entertainment venues to help the viewers make a truly informed decision about their potential lifestyle as a local.”

DevSuite’s capabilities go beyond presenting properties across geographical borders. Nicolas said its videoconferencing capabilities that seamlessly integrated into the platform were also popular with agents.

Again, this application allows properties to be inspected and sold despite physical boundaries. It also allows viewers a “walk-through” of the properties with local agents who can answer any questions in real-time.

The feedback on DevSuite has been that agents love that it’s all controlled simply and swiftly from a tablet, but the element that takes those crucial steps further is DevSuite’s integration with Development ID.

“The DevSuite technology is fully integrated to function with the stock available on Development ID,” Fleming said.

“This allows users to see all available products in real-time—no other property platform can give you that complete portfolio experience with a live feed to exactly what’s available then and there.”

The integration allows visitors to shortlist a selection of apartments and, thanks to the integration, that information can automatically be sent straight to the visitors, assisting the final decision process.

DevSuite is one example of how rapidly Development ID has evolved since entering the market in 2006 - for more information on DevSuite or Development ID click here.
