DA Received For $260m Sydney Project

Screen-Shot-2016-09-01-at-12

Greaton (formerly Zhengtang Group) has received development approval for its $260 million Oxford Central project located in the suburb of Epping in Sydney.

Situated at 30 - 42 Oxford Street, the iconic structure will comprise 254 luxurious apartments spread across two 17 storey towers, 292 car spaces and 625 sq m of retail on the ground level. A two storey heritage building located on the site will also be retained and is part of the retail precinct.

Over 75 per cent of the apartments will be two and three bedroom with a significant number boasting panoramic views across the city skyline and Epping.

An open air café area and public plaza will feature alongside the Heritage building which fronts the development and will be accessible to the public. Residents will also enjoy large areas of communal open space on the ground level which include recreational and BBQ facilities.

Nicho Teng, Managing Director of Greaton said, “Our vision for Oxford Central is to create a superior urban lifestyle destination for residents. This site was earmarked due to its strategic location in the epicentre of the state government’s plans to invest millions in re-developing Epping Town Centre and major transport infrastructure in the suburb.

“Epping is a highly sought after destination and offers buyers many benefits including its close proximity to NSW’s best primary and high schools, Macquarie Shopping Centre and major transport hubs which connect to the North West Rail Link, North Shore, Macquarie Park, the city’s CBD and Chatswood. Epping is considered one of the most liveable and connected areas in Sydney as a direct result of its leafy tree lined streets and direct accessibility to road, bus and train networks.”

He added, “Whether you are seeking a luxurious abode to live in or investment property in a major growth precinct, Oxford Central offers opportunities for everyone. International award winning architectural practice Marchese Partners has designed stunning spacious interiors and an exterior façade that will command attention on Epping’s skyline.”

Oxford Central is 150 metres from Epping Train Station, Sydney’s CBD is approximately 22 kilometres and Parramatta, Macquarie Park and North Ryde are a short 10 kilometre commute.

Eight educational institutions are located within 10 kilometres of the development.

Greaton purchased the 5,170 sq m site from Grocon in January 2016 and expects to start construction early in January 2017.
