British luxury car maker Aston Martin has made its first foray into real estate development, collaborating with global property developer G&G Business Developments on a 66-storey residential building in Miami, Florida.

The "Aston Martin Residences", will feature 391 condominiums priced between $US600,000 and $US50 million.

“Aston Martin is on a growth trajectory globally [and] across the United States,” chief marketing officer Simon Sproule said at the ground-breaking ceremony last week.

"Our partnership with G&G Business Developments to create Aston Martin Residences Miami, forms an important part of that growth story and of our desire to bring our brand to new audiences across the world."Aston Martin’s design team, led by EVP and chief creative officer Marek Reichman, will design the interior spaces including the two private lobbies, the two-level fitness centre with ocean views and the full-service spa amongst other shared spaces in the development.

Architects Revuelta Artchitecture and Bodas Mian Anger designed the sail-shaped building.

When the development opens, seven penthouses and a duplex penthouse – all of which will enjoy private pools and spacious terraces – will be complemented by a range of luxury one to four bedroom condominiums.

All of the residences will feature an "Aston Martin-inspired design aesthetic" and panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Construction on Aston Martin Residences is expected to conclude by 2022.
