Monaco's reputation as the playground of the rich and famous is set to continue with reports of the world's most expensive property coming to market in 2014.
A 3,300 square metre multi-level penthouse apartment in the
Odeon Tower development is estimated to be worth as much as £256m or $55,411 per square metre.
The penthouse comes complete with a private water slide and exclusive inifinity pool.
The twin tower development will contain 70 luxury apartments and will climb to 170m (557ft), making it the second tallest building on the mediterranean coastline.
Each apartment will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces with panoramic views of Monaco, Larvotto beach and the Ligurian Sea.
In addition to the penthouse, the Odeon Tower will also feature a range of apartments between one and six bedrooms, along with two sky duplexes and another 1,200 square metre penthouse.
According to Sky News, the development will include Russian and Turkish saunas, swimming pools, private spas, a full-time concierge, private chauffeured limousines and a cinema, along with housekeeping, dry cleaning and valet services all be organised by residents from touchscreen controls in each apartment.
Construction works commenced in 2009 with completion expected in mid-2014.
