Inner-Adelaide Residential Towers Win Approval

Unley HERO

Two separate apartment tower projects have been given the green light for Adelaide’s inner south.

South Australian developers Catcorp Group and Rinaldi Group have had their projects in Unley approved by the State Commission Assessment Panel.

Both proposed towers exceed the existing five-storey limit of the area.

Catcorp will now proveed with its seven-storey mixed-use tower on Unley Road comprising 44 two and three-bedroom residential apartments and four penthouses.

The site at 106-108 Unley Road is on the corner with Charles Lane.

The $45-million project development requires the demolition of an existing single-storey shop. Construction is expected to begin by the end of this year.

The developer is no stranger to the area—it completed Two Four Six, a luxury residential development at 246 Unley Road in 2021.

Catcorp director Anthony Catinari said the appetite for apartments in Unley had shifted to larger formats away from single-bedroom units.

Meanwhile, Rinaldi will develop a seven-storey residential tower at 119 Greenhill Road.

The project will also have frontage to Park Lane and is in the Urban Corridor Zone with planning documents incuding letters expressing community support for the development.

Rinaldi Group have taken ADS Architects on board to design the apartment tower.

There will be a mix of one and two bedroom apartments with 18 carparks.
