Runway Siting to be upgraded with national spatial data

b

Last week, the Australian Federal Government announced the free release of their GEODATA TOPO data which is a national seamless data product aimed at software applications. The data is scheduled to be released in February 2016 and will be compatible with

Runway Siting app and will be fully integrated during the second quarter 2016.

The product consists of the following layers: built-up areas, contours, elevations, drainage, framework, localities, offshore, rail and road transport, sand ridges, spot heights, and waterbodies. It is a vector representation of the Australian landscape as represented on the Geoscience Australia 1:2.5 million scale general reference maps.

Runway CRM to integrate with Census data for richer reporting and analysis

In addition to this spatial data, Runway CRM will be further powered with Census data to allow for more detailed analysis of prospects and customers including age, ethnicity, family make up, religion, education and employment.

“At Runway we are very excited to be incorporating this data made available by the Australian Federal Government. The data will integrate seamlessly with our existing modules and apps and will enrich the use and outputs from Runway to allow for better decision making and product development,” said Rowan Kelly, Research and Development Director.

It is expected this data integration will be rolled out during the second quarter of 2016.
