RLB in NSW Appoints Paul Skinner as Managing Director

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) in NSW is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Skinner as managing director.

With 28 years of experience in quantity surveying, including 11 years as a director, Skinner has played a key role in ensuring RLB delivers value where it matters most—helping clients bring their vision to life while positively impacting our communities.

As the seventh managing director of RLB in NSW, he is ready to lead the firm into its next chapter.

This appointment comes as RLB celebrates its 240-year anniversary in 2025—a milestone that reflects the firm’s commitment to four simple ideas: truth, trust, together, tomorrow.

“RLB has always been about more than numbers. It’s about building trust, speaking honestly and working together for a better tomorrow,” Skinner (pictured top, on right, with outgoing managing director Stephen Mee) said.

“Our longevity is a testament to our experience and our ability to listen, adapt and make a meaningful impact. We’re proud of what we build—not just for our clients but for the communities where we live and work.”

Steady hand

Skinner pays tribute to Mee’s selfless commitment to RLB over more than four decades, acknowledging Mee’s leadership and dedication.

“Stephen has been more than a steady pair of hands at the helm. He has set the standard for excellence and integrity—leading with generosity, wisdom and an unwavering commitment to his colleagues and clients.

“His impact on RLB is immeasurable and we are grateful that he will continue contributing to RLB in his new role as director.”

Supportive culture

Mee affirmed Skinner’s deep commitment to clients and colleagues, saying: “Paul has long championed a culture of support and collaboration, in his role as human resources director and in his own interactions with colleagues and clients.

“Paul’s leadership will continue to uphold RLB’s tradition of building for the long term—strengthening relationships, supporting our people and delivering trusted expertise in quantity surveying and advisory services.”

Skinner will be supported by an experienced leadership team of directors: Mark Sims, Mark Hocking, Oliver Nichols, Stephen Mee, Richard Rigby, Mark Brasher, Michael Mihailou, Syidah Arnold and Ryan Jones, along with a dynamic and highly skilled team of professionals.

Lasting partnerships

As RLB in NSW marks over 70 years of independent expertise, the firm remains committed to evolving while staying true to its values—building lasting partnerships, supporting people, delivering trusted advice and ensuring that we make a difference together.
