New Neighbour Breaks Ground Next to RM Williams’ Famous SA Address

Works have started on boutique apartments beside the Percy Street property where late Australian bushman RM Williams first manufactured his one-piece leather boots in Adelaide’s inner north.

At 1-3 Percy Street, Prospect, South Australian developers Catcorp and Bauhinia Property Development Group have started building on a 7000sq m site where earlier this year they demolished three blocks of flats and a handful of houses.

Catcorp development manager Tom Du Rieu said more than 65 per cent of his four-storey project’s 52 apartments had been sold. He said the development’s eight ground-floor retail or hospitality tenancies were likely to be leased before completion.
