Court Win Clears Way for Five-Tower Castle Hill Project

Msquared Capital has won approval for its five-tower development planned for Castle Hill after its Land and Environment Court appeal was upheld. 

It now has the green light for stages one and two of the Cadman Crescent development—comprising 242 apartments across five buildings around a central courtyard.

The project will cover about half of the 12,407sq m site will create a residential community with modern amenities and public infrastructure about 35km north-west of the Sydney CBD in the Hills District.

A communal pool and waterfall are included in the amenities with sandstone and red-brick materials to be used.

Architects MHN Design Union have designed the residential village which will include a variety of housing types. They said the plans would consider heritage aspects of the site. 

A key part of the design process involved creating a space for indoor and outdoor living to combine the site’s history with modern living, the architects said. 

Cadman Crescent is in a booming urban precinct with reports show residential development in the area will cater for significant population growth.

Interest in the area is on the rise in part thanks to the coming Sydney Metro Northwest line, which will make the area more accessible.
