Pool Resort Proposal Floated for SA’s Kangaroo Island

A tourist resort with 33 geothermal bathing pools planned for the north coast of South Australia’s Kangaroo Island will have to overcome opposition from the island’s Mayor who says water for the project will have to be captured or carted.
Planned for North Coast Road, the resort would include 60 accommodation modules for guests, 26 accommodation pods for staff, a restaurant, reception and day spa.
Some pools would overlook Investigator Strait toward the foot of Yorke Peninsula.
