Australia will be home to multiple multi-million dollar projects overseen by Hong Kong based company Golden Horse Group in 2015 and it will be an ongoing partnership with their GH Australia arm launching this week.
The project includes the $175 million, 232-room Icon Milton apartment tower which will be located in Brisbane’s inner west, as well as a large residential project in Sydney.
Their main target areas appear to be in Queensland, particularly Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast with multiple properties in these areas already in planning stages or under consideration for future developments.
Attractions within the plan include a hotel on the Gold Coast and golf resorts and development sites on both the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. This project will see the face of residential property in Australia change significantly.
Golden Horse Group Australia General Manager Roger Luo said, “We have confidence in the long-term growth potential of the Australian residential property market… The scale of our Australian property interests demonstrates a long-term commitment to our presence here.”
Mr. Luo sees the project as a reflection of the company’s faith to the local property market. “Icon Milton is the first of several projects we plan to undertake,” he said.
The Noose Springs Golf Resort as well as a housing development site on the Sunshine Coast is some of the property developments GH Australia is interested in. Others include a major shareholding in Hope Island Links Resort on top of a Hope Island site which is planned to house 23 new luxury homes as well as a 400 room hotel, all to be constructed by the end of 2015.
