Buyers Snap Up $15 Million Worth Of Newstead Apartments

T

Buyers have already spent more than $15 million on the Penthouse Collection of apartments in Haven at Newstead.

More than 50 per cent of the development’s sub-penthouse and penthouse stock with prices ranging from $770,000 - $3.5 million, have been sold since officially launching to the market five weeks ago.

HCAP Developments CEO Steve Howell said the majority of buyers were owner occupiers from the local area who were looking to downsize from their current homes.

“We have seen strong interest from people wanting to live in the lifestyle-rich Newstead area, with its parks, shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues,” Mr Howell said.

“Haven uniquely provides the perfect north-east orientation, location, views and luxury finishes that sophisticated buyers demand when buying a penthouse to live in.”

“The penthouses are finished to a standard surpassing other premium waterfront developments in the area, and have been designed to make the most of their position and the stunning views.”

He said some buyers are even amalgamating two sub-penthouses to create five bedroom, three and a half bathroom supersized penthouse with over 45 meters of apartment frontage (which is almost half the length of a football field) allowing natural light and views to the River and/or city plus buyers enjoy the added benefit of having four side by side carspaces.

Haven’s penthouse and sub-penthouse apartments feature fully integrated Miele appliances, premium kitchen and bathroom finishes, powder rooms and walk in wardrobes.

They have open plan designs to capture the views from every angle with the two bedroom apartments priced within the mid $700,000’s to $800,000 and the three, four and five bedroom penthouses priced from mid $1 million to mid $3 million.

Nestled at the top level is a rooftop sky deck including infinity pool and entertainment zones featuring barbecues, pizza ovens and dining areas that can be separately reserved for residents.

Less than 2km from the inner city, residents can jump on the CityGlider right outside Haven and the City Cat terminal is just 500m away.

Haven’s ground floor retail will provide a premium offering for residents and guests, incorporating more than 1150sqm of food and beverage, fashion and homewares.

Its design, leasing and ongoing management will be controlled by John James, of James Street fame.

In addition Haven is directly across the road form the award winning Gasworks Plaza, providing a Woolworths, Chemists, Banks as well as several additional food and beverage offerings.
