GraysOnline leases 8,000sqm at Hamilton as online business grows

S

An 8,000 square metre office and warehouse facility within the Northshore Hamilton precinct has been leased to the leading online auction house GraysOnline.

The building at 130 MacArthur Avenue in Hamilton has been leased for $480,000 per annum in a five year deal with options.

GraysOnline are a leading online auction group, with multiple facilities around the country which act as collection points for their customers. The lease is a result of the company’s recent growth and a sign of the growing demand for office and warehouse space for online retailers.

Chris Davis and Brendan Delahunty from Jones Lang LaSalle negotiated the deal.

“The Hamilton facility will see GraysOnline relocate their entire Brisbane operation to this property, from their previous location in Acacia Ridge,” said Jones Lang LaSalle’s Brendan Delahunty.

“The tenant is undertaking significant works to the building which is reflected in the rental.”

“The large hardstand area of circa 8,000sqm provides increased capacity for GraysOnline to deal with their growing number of Mining, Transport, Civil and Agriculture assets,” said Jones Lang LaSalle’s Chris Davis.

“The site’s excellent position in terms of transport and its proximity to the Port was a key priority for mining assets selling overseas, while the hardstand enables the company to deliver to their fast growing industrial business in Queensland,” he said.

Northshore Hamilton is Queensland’s largest urban renewal project with an end value of more than $4 billion.
