Flexible Office Space the Future of Work

Flexible office space is becoming the “new normal” of the workplace with demand rising even before the pandemic set in.

In the Asia Pacific region demand for flexible office space was up by 26 per cent in the 2018-19 financial year, according to an industry snapshot report.

The flexible office space market itself has also transitioned from a focus on co-working solutions to private offices, making it a viable and cost-efficient alternative to restrictive long-term leases from traditional providers.

Colliers International and CBRE expect this new workstyle to support the office sector as it rebalances with the number of providers increasing by 17 per cent.
