Residential and retail development, Casba by Cornerstone Property Group, was today crowned the winner of the coveted 2015 Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW President's Award - an honour bestowed on the best project out of the 2015 UDIA NSW/ACT Meriton Awards for Excellence winners.
UDIA NSW President Martin Wells said Casba, which was up against 14 other projects, won because it successfully balances heritage considerations with the growing expectations of inner city living environments.
"The annual Urban Development institute of Australia NSW President's Award is an honour bestowed upon the best-of-the-best urban development project in NSW and the ACT," he said.
