The Nightingale Village project emerged as the winner of The ULI’s Award for Decarbonisation in Real Estate due to its groundbreaking approach to addressing the housing crisis in Melbourne while prioritising sustainability and community building.
Six leading architecture firms collaborated through Nightingale Housing to create a fossil fuel-free precinct that offers sustainable, affordable, and people-centered homes.
The use of locally sourced and recycled materials, energy-efficient features, and a centralised renewable energy network contributed to the sustainability initiatives.
