Get in the Room with the People Rewriting the Industrial Playbook

Industrial property is becoming more sophisticated as occupier requirements, automation, energy and development economics reshape what a successful asset looks like.
On Wednesday, November 11, The Urban Developer’s Industrial Leaders Forum will bring the people setting that pace into one room in Melbourne, across a single lunch.
The new industrial playbook
The program opens with a developer and investor panel looking at how the best industrial operators are approaching site selection, feasibility, leasing, automation and capital allocation in 2026. Joining us for the panel are:
Centuria Industrial REIT fund manager Grant Nichols runs the ASX-listed fund’s national portfolio of logistics and industrial assets, and heads listed funds across the group.
Salta Properties director of industrial development Owen Smith leads the group’s commercial and industrial division and has masterplanned its Nexus precincts at Dandenong South and Mulgrave.
Freeform director Tim Kourtaibe treats industrial as a design discipline, with a pipeline that includes the $65 million Citadel Business Park and the recently permitted $100 million Brookside Tullamarine.
The confluence of industrial, logistics, workplaces, storage
The lunch closes with Time and Place executive director Chris O’Keefe, who built the group’s industrial portfolio alongside its mixed-use projects across 25 years in commercial development.
His In Conversation covers how industrial, logistics, workplaces and storage are being developed under one roof, and what that means for the sector’s next phase.
Three hours, one room, and only two weeks away.
The forum is to be held 12pm to 3pm at South Wharf, with networking built in. Tickets are limited.
