The urban developer awards for industry excellence nominations open for 2023 awards

The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence are back bigger and better than ever in 2023.

This is your chance to showcase your hard work and accomplishments in urban development and be acknowledged as one of the industry’s finest.

Now in its sixth year, the awards recognise excellence in urban development and have become a distinguished event in the industry, with more than 1000 submissions and more than 100 winners in that time.

Delivered in partnership with Trilogy Funds, this year  nominations are being called for in 24 categories across two main streams: Industry Excellence and Development of the Year.

Winners at The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence last year included The Standard by Aria in Brisbane.

This includes a new award for 2023, The Urban Land Institute (ULI) Award for Decarbonisation in Real Estate, which The Urban Developer is pleased to present in partnership with the international Urban Land Institute.

This category honors projects and programs that exemplify best practices in the decarbonisation of real estate, encouraging sustainability and environmental responsibility in urban development.

As well, we will again recognise a legend of the industry with The Urban Developer Lifetime Achievement Award.

Participating in The Urban Developer awards not only gives you the opportunity to receive recognition for your achievements, but also enables you to showcase your work to the wider community.

Demonstrate how your projects, programs, places, and people are positively impacting our cities, and be celebrated as a leader in the industry.

Early bird nominations are now open, offering a saving of more than $50 per entry by submitting before the first entry deadline of April 17.

The awards will be announced at the TUD Awards Gala Dinner in August at The Star on Queensland’s Gold Coast, an event not to be missed as we celebrate the achievements of the industry, and the people and projects shaping our cities.

Last year, winners included such incredible developments as The Standard by Aria, Queensland; Norfolk by Forme, Queensland; Williams Sonoma by Frasers Property Industrial, NSW; and Rhodes Central by Billbergia in association with SJB, NSW.
