Presenter: Dr Brendan Rynne - Partner, Chief Economist, KPMG Australia

Brendan is the chief economist for KPMG Australia and has more than 30 years post-graduate experience including working as a property market analyst for a commercial real estate firm during the 1990s.  

He has been at KPMG for more than 27 years, including 19 years as a Partner, and has worked on a number of nationally significant engagements including the Henry Tax Review, Tax White Paper, Murray Darling Basin Commission and economic impact of climate change for the CSIRO.


What will be covered

  • key drivers of the Australian economy in the year ahead

  • inflation pressures and its effect on the property sector

  • changes in policy, labour shortages and other construction-related activities

  • outlook for residential development and investment

  • outlook for Australia's commercial real estate markets
