Sydney Developer Provides Big Homes For Small Lots

Vantage_45_Verve_116-copy_620x380

Metricon Homes has launched Maza design (Maza), an answer to growing demand for bigger houses on smaller lots, in the South West’s newest $1 billion community New Breeze.

Maza is a compact two storey home which is available in either 24 or 26 squares and ideal for very small land lots. Several leading house builders are also offering similar designs in New Breeze which focus on offering house hunters large homes on lots from 200 square metres.

New Breeze Sales Manager Jesse Johnson said Metricon Homes has a broad range of purchasers in New Breeze ranging from first home buyers, upsizers, downsizers and investors requesting bigger houses on smaller lots, which drove the decision to launch Maza.

"The Maza has broad appeal and we are already receiving strong enquiry for this housing solution from a mix of buyers. The new home style adds to the housing diversity already available in New Breeze.”

A variety of lot sizes from 250 square metres to over 647.7 square metres are available in New Breeze with prices starting from $330,000 to $670,000. These lots are positioned close to Brigade Park and Bardia Public School. All of the lots are easy build and include NBN access.

Metricon Design Director Adrian Popple said New Breeze is one of the fastest growing communities in Sydney’s South West growth corridor.

“The Maza presents a really smart design solution, fitting a large amount of accommodation into a compact block, whilst still offering a sense of light and spaciousness.

"This exciting home was inspired by the way in which Australian families live today, with smart zoned living offering the perfect spaces for every family member’s time together or space to retreat.”

Maza homes are priced from $266,800. These four bed double storey homes feature frontages up to 10 metres. A fifth bedroom option is also available downstairs. Open plan alfresco spaces, large family/theatre room, butler’s pantry, large bedrooms and balcony options are some of Maza’s features.

New Breeze will comprise 1280 new homes with a range of housing types to suit all lifestyles and budgets. The development will include large high quality parks and playgrounds, a sports oval, bike and cycle paths and 40 hectares of open spaces for recreational activities.

It is also situated adjacent to an existing school (Bardia Public School), the future town centre, Hume Highway and Edmondson Park Train Station. Liverpool Westfield, Casula Mall and Crossroad Homemaker Centre are all within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Twelve public and private schools including Macquarie Fields High School and William Carey Christian School are also within a 15 minute drive.

Construction started in July 2016. The new houses are expected to be built from mid 2017.
