Stamford Land Corporation has applied to amend its development of the Melbourne Building in Macquarie Park from 12 to 22 levels.
The amended Concept Plan for development has gone on exhibition for community consultation. The building is part of the Macquarie Park Village precinct.
The planned building is located at 110–114 Herring Road in Macquarie Park.
The New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment is seeking the community’s views on the proposal which seeks to:
increase the height of the Melbourne Building from 12 storeys to 22 storeys.
increase the indicative number of apartments in the Melbourne building by 60 to a total of 162 apartments, bringing the total indicative number of apartments within the whole development to 760.
change the visitor parking rates for these additional ten storeys to provide one parking space per 10 visitors instead of five.
