Missed Deadline Sinks Council Bid to Block Dingley Estate

A missed deadline has ended a council’s attempt to overturn the ministerial approval of a Melbourne masterplanned community.
Satterley Property Group wanted to redevelop the former Kingswood Golf Course at Dingley Village in south-east Melbourne into 941 homes.
But those plans were thrown into doubt late last year when the Kingston City Council asked the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) to review a decision by the Victorian Minister for Planning to approve the development plan for the former golf club.
