Timber BtR Scheme in Abbotsford Factory Greenlit as MODEL’s Debut

Built-to-rent developer MODEL has proven fortune favours the bold after securing approval for its debut development project.
Greenlit by the Victorian Government, the $120-million, 158-home project at Abbotsford will now go ahead, MODEL told The Urban Developer.
The plan filed earlier this year proposed the reuse of the Schweppes Cordial factory, built in 1886 by Jacob Schweppe. The warehouse was later used as the headquarters for the James Richardson Group.
