Mirvac’s Yarra Point showcases exclusive Oly San Francisco display

Y

Mirvac’s $191 million Yarra Point apartment tower has welcomed its first residents, with 90 per cent of the 31-storey building now sold.

The building, located on Yarra’s Edge in Docklands in the Melbourne CBD, features 201 one, two, three and four bedroom apartments ranging from 55 square metres to 214 square metres.

Prices start from $520,500 for a one bedroom apartment and $2.42 million for a four bedroom suite.

In an Australian-first, the Sky Residence display on level 30 has been styled with furnishings from the internationally-renowned Oly San Francisco, exclusive to Coco Republic.

Mirvac Residential CEO, John Carfi, says the display brings an exciting and unique style to the luxurious waterfront address.

“The Oly display is truly one of a kind - we want our customers to walk through the Sky Residence apartment and feel surprised with something refreshingly unique,” said Mr Carfi.

A private garden and two level lobby welcome guests and residents into the apartment building, where they also have access to the 300 square metre rooftop garden, residents’ lounge and business centre.

Designed by Californian based artists Kate McIntyre and Brad Huntzinger, the contemporary, playful and colourful Oly collection embodies quirky sophistication with a twist.

Coco Republic Interior Designer, Rohan Smith, styled the space for buyers who don’t follow the latest fashion or interiors trends.

He said the use of navy in the master bedroom, teamed with a feminine mirrored bed, created  an unexpected mix of colours and avoided coming across too masculine.

“I wanted this apartment to feel real and lived in, not staged,” said Mr Smith.

“The Oly pieces create a timeless, contemporary style that is unexpected, adding a sense of play to a luxurious property.”

The Sky Residence display also features unique furnishings, including an ottoman with animal legs, zebra print hide on a traditional Louis style chair and antiqued metal, timber and shell.

Four display apartments are now open on levels 1, 11 and 13 and the Oly by Coco Republic display is located within the Sky Residence penthouse on level 31.
