LAS Group’s 26-storey Southbank tower has been approved by the City of Melbourne nearly a year after a permit was granted.

The city’s approval was the final hurdle for the scheme planned for 36-42 Clarke Street and comes more than two years after it was filed. 

The approval is 10 months after the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, in October, 2025 decided the fate of the proposal.
