Investment group Hesperia has revealed it will acquire the Woolworths distribution centre at Perth Airport as six projects associated with supermarkets make their way through WA’s approvals system.
WA-based Hesperia has agreed to buy the Woolies distribution centre at 20 Colquhoun Road from East Coast-based investment trust Growthpoint Properties Australia for $267.7 million.
In 2009, when the property became part of Growthpoint’s portfolio, it was valued at $101.6 million. Growthpoint extended the facility by 15,000sq m in 2009 and has started a further 10,700sq m expansion.
