Innovative Urban Living in the Heart of the Hunter Valley

LWP Property Group’s Urban Series development at Huntlee in the NSW Hunter Valley has launched.

The Urban Series brings new residential living options to the region, with spacious, modern one and two storey residential properties to the Huntlee town centre.

Creating an urban community for people wanting to live, work and play in the valley’s premium wine country.

This was something new for the Hunter Valley, Huntlee sales director Robert Crane said.

“The Urban Series is very much modelled on the world’s best town centres where residential meets retail, with everything just a short walk away,” he said.

The Urban Series continues the successful growth story for Huntlee.

Alongside Huntlee’s residential village Katherine’s Landing, the retail part of the town centre consists of a Coles, KFC, local tavern along with 11 specialty shops with more to come, notably a hardware and gym on the horizon.

“People choose to live here because it just works on so many levels,” Crane said.

“We’re expecting a mix of investors, professionals, downsizers, not to mention first-home buyers who will appreciate the affordability of the offering.”

A new way of living

Convenience, connectedness and wellbeing are at the heart of Australia’s post-Covid lifestyle, and The Urban Series delivers with accessibility, walkability and easy-living being fundamental to the project.

All the designs for the Urban Series have one thing in common: maximum space.

Open-plan living areas see generous kitchen, dining and living pulled into a continuous whole.

Light-filled bedrooms and bathroom retreats belie the  urban land footprint.

As well as catering to those who appreciate the benefits of living close to the local shops and services, what is significantly attractive about The Urban Series is the area zoning, which allows for residential and residential-commercial usage; making this an opportunity for people who want to live and work for themselves.

Early bird buyers will recognise the first-mover advantage of choosing residential designs that maximise rental returns and resale, as well as the potential to work with LWP to bring new live-work retail opportunities to the town centre.

House and land packages and vacant land options are available with appealing price points for first home buyers and downsizers alike. The urban village is perfect for anyone wanting the lock and leave lifestyle—to travel or work—and know everything will be just as they left it when they return. Land starts from $215,000, which is an extremely attractive price point for first-home buyers and unheard of in the current market.

“The Urban Series is a genuinely exciting development for the market,” Crane said.

“It helps prove that communities are built on the sum of the parts of thoughtful and careful planning.”

A storied history

LWP’s guiding principle has always been to go beyond the plan, to develop communities with lifestyle, wellbeing, and leisure spaces, as well as retail and entertainment precincts, with plenty of employment opportunities in its own self-contained region.

It’s perhaps no surprise that in May of this year, CoreLogic named North Rothbury one of Australia’s top-rated suburbs with the highest 12-month value growth,  which is testament to Huntlee’s desirability.

Huntlee represents a $1.5 billion investment over 20 years—itself creating more than 2500 jobs—that will make a home for more than 20,000 residents.

Hutlee’s Urban Series is now on sale.
