Holmview Site Sold To Developer For Planned Project

H

An eight-hectare residential development site in Brisbane’s south west growth corridor has been sold for $2.9 million with the interstate investor who is expected to unveil a new 104-lot development early next year.

The site was marketed by Annette Sinclair of Main Beach Property Sales who in conjunction with Brinton Keath of property services group Oliver Hume sold the land.

Oliver Hume has also been appointed to market the upcoming land development.

The 8.09 hectare property is located on Tallagandra Road at Holmview and provides easy access to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, via the M1 Motorway.

Oliver Hume expects to launch the estate to market in February 2016 once a Development Application (DA) has been approved.

Oliver Hume Joint Managing Director - Queensland Brinton Keath said the site’s location would ensure strong demand for land once the project was released.

He said Holmview’s bushland setting, established retail infrastructure, proximity to the Logan River and easy access to Brisbane and the Gold Coast made it an attractive prospect for buyers.

“Holmview along with the entire Logan catchment is about to embark on a major growth phase due to land availability.

“The complete lack of land in the north of Brisbane and the Gold Coast has really turned the focus on the inner south and west being Logan and Ipswich.”

He said Oliver Hume was extremely pleased to be appointed as the marketing agent on this boutique estate taking its total land bank under management to over “13,000 lots in South-East Queensland.”

“We aim to set ourselves apart from our competition with our depth of experience and professional and ethical conduct,” he said.

“This appointment confirms our track record for achieving successful outcomes for all of our clients.”
