Three quarters of the luxury high rise development,

The Highgate, has been sold since its launch four weeks ago totalling $50 million in sales.

Pointcorp said the positive response meant construction could be brought forward two months from February to December.

Director Chris Vitale said there were enough pre-sales to lock in finance for the much anticipated project.

“We’ve achieved 75 per cent sales in just 4 weeks, so that is a great response,” he said.

“This just confirms our belief that there is demand for this high end, luxury product and that’s what we’re delivering.”

Mr Vitale said there had been almost 500 enquires since the project was launched and all 30 sales were to Brisbane-based locals.

The Highgate launched with a spectacular private dinner cooked by Australia’s leading chef and restaurateur Neil Perry.

Mr Perry, of Rockpool fame, is collaborating on the project, designing his first private kitchen in conjunction with interior designer Blainey North.

He’s also designed his first range of commercial quality appliances which will feature in the apartments.

Mr Vitale said The Highgate offered a range of apartments, starting from $1,530,000 to the penthouse at $3,610,000.

Early site works will now start in December. An announcement on the building contractor is expected soon.
