Eponymous developer Gurner has unveiled plans for five ultra-luxury mega-mansions inspired by Los Angeles’ spectacular homes, as the developer divests assets elsewhere.
The $35-million Huntingtower Place at Armadale will offer fully customised bespoke designs as part of the developer’s Gurner Boutique brand.
Gurner chief executive Tim Gurner’s began custom builds as a passion project and the latest arm of Gurner is aimed at delivering up to eight boutique projects a year.
“Designing homes has always been a passion of mine and I am really looking forward to delivering something absolutely amazing to one of the most sought-after pockets of Melbourne,” Gurner said.
“Our boutique projects will deliver the same ultra-luxury inclusions, aesthetic and detail as our record-breaking penthouses, which have continued to push the boundaries of what is possible in the apartment market, at a freestanding and medium-density level.”
The Wolveridge Architects-designed bespoke homes at Huntingtower Road will range in price from $5.5 million to $15.5 million for residences of 300sq m to 1000 square metres.
Two of the five homes have already been sold to existing Gurner clients ahead of the project’s launch to market next month.
The pinnacle of the project is The Mansion, a 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom luxury residents with an asking price from $14.5 million. It will comprise 6m-high ceilings, a sunken pool, a wellness gym and sanctuary, a private chipping and putting green, private bar and library and a 150sq m main bedroom with its own living space, fireplace, outdoor spa and custom wardrobe.
Gurner Design House design director Simon Brugaletta will help The Mansion purchaser to customise their space.
“The Mansion at Huntingtower Place has been a dream of mine for a long time—the inspiration struck when I saw an incredible home in Los Angeles many years ago,” Gurner said.
“We have used that inspiration to take these homes to another level, with five north-facing residences that capture the essence of a mansion at a slightly smaller scale.
“Under the Gurner Boutique banner we are in the unique position to explore areas of luxury design and architecture at a different and more bespoke scale than in some of our larger projects. We look forward to diversifying this aspect of the business and delivering more developments in this bespoke space.”
Meanwhile, the developer is divesting assets and recycling capital.
JLL is marketing the FV portfolio in Brisbane, which has been listed as three distinct investment opportunities, in the ground floor beneath the catalyst development FV Flatiron by Gurner.
The three food and beverage spaces are being offered in one line or as separate assets in the heart of Fortitude Valley.
Gurner has also listed two proposed office block sites in Melbourne with JLL.
The sites at 7-9 Robinson Street and 13-15 Robinson Street at Prahran had received planning approval for four and five-storey commercial projects.
