The WA Government has revealed its plan to convert a 22-storey hotel in East Perth into more than 200 affordable homes.
The Department of Communities acquired the Fraser Suites Perth building for $105 million in July, one of four mixed-use buildings at 10 Adelaide Terrace.
The 12-year-old complex is part of the Queens Riverside precinct. Its sale was the single largest purchase for affordable and social housing in the state’s history.
