Di Carlo's Tribeca Terraces Offering Upmarket Living In Bulimba

Luxury living in Brisbane is poised for a new era following the unveiling of a major new residential project, the $50 million TriBeCa Terraces at Bulimba.

The upmarket residences, to be delivered by long-established Brisbane developer Di Carlo Property Group, will bring to the market 53 spacious terrace homes – all with freehold title.

TriBeCa Terraces, inspired by New York’s premium urban neighbourhood of TriBeCa and designed for the relaxed Queensland lifestyle, will bring a new style of inner-Brisbane residence to the market featuring multi-level living with the distinct advantages of a freestanding home.

The development will comprise premium terrace homes of two and three storeys, each with three bedrooms, a master ensuite and study nook.

Selected terrace homes will have their own roof deck where residents can entertain friends or relax in their own private haven against a stunning city backdrop.

All terrace homes will feature courtyards and multiple outdoor balcony areas to take advantage of a range of vistas in one of the city’s most desirable suburbs.

“We’ve designed TriBeCa Terraces to stand out from what is currently being offered in the market,” Di Carlo Property Group Director Josh Di Carlo said.

“Each terrace will have freehold title, which brings with it all the advantages of owning your own home.

“The interior layouts are an extension of that concept, offering flexible and generous living spaces that you would expect from a premium residence.”

TriBeCa Terraces homes will have double-car garages plus parking space for guests.

Residents will also have access to a range of lifestyle facilities including generous storage for bicycles and two recreation areas. These include a luxury swimming pool, outdoor entertaining areas and extensive landscaping for exercise and relaxation purposes.

TriBeCa Terraces is to be developed on a 6827 square metre site with frontages to Banya Street and Johnston Street; just a short walk to Bulimba’s retail hub and along the river to the Apollo Road Ferry Terminal.

The site once housed an army barracks that dated back to Brisbane’s 1940s wartime era and it is an easy walk to the riverfront precinct of the Bulimba Army Barracks which is currently subject to a new master plan by the Brisbane City Council. The Bulimba Barracks Master Plan is the next step in providing more detailed planning on future development and ways it could enhance the local area. It will guide future development on matters such as preferred land use mix, building height and type, heritage, flooding, parkland, road network, pedestrian and bike connections, use of the riverfront and any necessary infrastructure upgrades. The Bulimba barracks master plan, now adopted by Council, will fall into the Bulimba District Neighbourhood Plan which came into effect on 2 July 2012 and includes overall outcomes to guide redevelopment should the Australian Government Department of Defence cease operations. The outcomes were developed together with the local community following extensive feedback and input.

Di Carlo Group is a Brisbane-based family company that has been developing quality boutique residential projects in South-East Queensland for the past 30 years.

The company has delivered a suite of successful residential projects in Brisbane’s inner east, including Ebony + Ivory at Coorparoo and Element Bulimba.

“Bulimba is a market we know really well,” Mr Di Carlo said.

“Our family has lived and worked here for more than a generation, so we’re already converts to the lifestyle that Bulimba offers. In recent years, we’ve seen the area really mature as a choice for lifestyle buyers, and TriBeCa Terraces is a premium product that fills a distinct void in this market for quality homes.

“We wanted to create a new style of home that both stands out from the crowd and comfortably blends with the character of the area," he said.

“A site of this scale in the heart of Bulimba also deserves what we believe will create a new benchmark in residential quality. It is a stylish new take on the traditional terrace home that has broad appeal in the market.

“TriBeCa Terraces have been carefully crafted by our team to offer functional living spaces with the look and feel of a spacious home, accompanied by all the amenities of inner-city living."Di Carlo incorporated many features that bring together the lifestyle envisaged for residents, including rooftop decks, courtyards, multiple outdoor balcony areas and extensive landscaping and recreation areas.

The luxury development is due for release to the market in coming months, with plans for a sales office to be established ahead of the launch. Prices for the terrace homes have yet to be released.
