Design Our Ryde Stage 2 Finalists On Display

An expert jury and members of the community have selected four architectural concepts to compete in Stage Two of the Ryde Civic Hub Design our Ryde competition.

The four shortlisted contenders, including the People’s Choice winner, were chosen from a total of 175 complying entries received from 47 countries, including 42 from Australia.  They will go on public display from 11 July to 1 August and the public can provide comment on the four entries before the expert jury makes its final choice.  The winning entrant will be announced in the week beginning 8 August.

During the Stage One three-week public exhibition, 2,653 votes were received in the People’s Choice category.  The shortlisted entries are:









Design our Ryde jury chairman, Peter Poulet said, “Great architecture can rejuvenate a city and the jury members have been impressed by the diversity and range of design responses.”

From Monday 11 July, 9.00am, you can see the detailed concepts, including animated walkthroughs and provide comment at:
