The Coolum property market on the Sunshine Coast is enjoying strong sales results with Queensland developer Coolum Terrace Holdings selling 30% of apartments in its new luxury development Illoura within weeks of its release.

Setting a new standard in oceanfront living, Illoura Coolum features a selection of 37 apartments including three luxurious penthouses in two boutique buildings with subtropical landscaping, lagoon style heated pool, spa and sundeck.

Coolum Terrace Holdings spokesperson Elisabeth Pernod said buyer interest in the $35 million project was extremely encouraging with 11 out of the 37 units, totalling $10 million, sold or under contract.

“The strong off the plan sales and enquiry levels from both the investor and owner-occupier markets are an indication of the high quality product, value for money and sought after coastal destination that continues to grow in popularity,’’ Ms Pernod said.

Illoura Coolum comprises two exclusive buildings featuring a selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses ranging in size from approximately 140sqm to 563 sqmPrices range from $375,000 to $1.5 million.

Features include elevated beach views from nearly all apartments, 2.7m ceilings, extensive glazing to maximise natural light and ventilation and balconies with full-height stacking glass doors.

Residents will also enjoy individual fully-ducted air conditioning, full height two-pac kitchens, stone benchtops, stainless steel appliances, generous sized bedrooms with built in or walk in robes, a choice of timber or Italian floor tiling, ample storage and fully secure basement carpark.

Major lifestyle benefits include stunning oceanfront location, direct access to Coolum Esplanade, yoga meditation and relaxation pavilion, undercover BBQ pavilion with Teppanyaki hot plate, communal herb garden and onsite manager.

Offering panoramic coastal views north to Noosa, east over the Pacific Ocean and south to Point Arkwright, Illoura is just steps from famous Coolum beach with surf club, boardwalks and tranquil coves, a short stroll from Coolum Village, cafes and supermarkets, just 10km from the Sunshine Coast Airport and 120km from Brisbane.

Construction is expected to start on Illoura Coolum within three months.
