Brisbane's residential offering keeps getting bigger, better and taller, with the approval of a three-tower development opposite the Gabba stadium set to feature Brisbane's largest and highest rooftop entertaining area, according to its developers.

The "K" development by Zenonos Pty Ltd is located at 352 Vulture Street Kangaroo Point, diagonally across from the Gabba on the corner of Vulture and Main streets, will include 325 units, retail, cinema, offices, indoor sports areas, short-term accommodation (96 units) and a hotel.

The Australian reported that the listed Abacus Property Group with unlisted partner Zenonos Group acquired the Lutwyche City Shopping Centre from Federation Centres in a $65 million deal during 2015.
Statement from Zenonos:
"The Zenonos Group of Companies has just been dispensed DA for a catalyst landmark project named K. (K point).

K Hotel foyer"It's a diversified mixed used development which is underwritten by volumetric retail, hotel and residential.

"It is situated close to Brisbane's most iconic assets, Southbank Parklands, the Story Bridge, the KP cliffs, and the Gabba cricket ground. It is also in the golden triangle health corridor dissecting the PA, Lady Cilento, Mater Hospital and a 10 minute drive to the Royal Brisbane.

"It is surrounded by a sea of educational tertiary in UQ, Griffith University, Southbank TAFE, Griffith Southbank, QUT Brisbane and a stone's throw away from the CBD, access to all modes of public transport and feeds into M1 and M5, and has stunning line of site, straddling high frequency roads in Vulture and Main St. The proposed Cross River Rail/ TOD will be on the doorstep of K.

P"K will feature Brisbane's largest and highest rooftop skygarden and bar with interrupted helicopter city and river views.

"The retail will be underpinned with a craft brewery and eclectic restaurant precinct. A large part of the aspirational apartments will have high definition views mesmerising full city and river views and 'gun barrel' views of the new casino."

Detailed architectural drawings are yet to be submitted for the development.
