Developer Grocon has lodged plans with the Hornsby Shire Council to build a $250 million residential project.
The Australian Financial Review has reported the Epping project will feature a 16-level tower with 279 apartments. Plans for a retail component were also submitted.
Extending from 30 to 42 Oxford Street, Epping, the site makes up four separate blocks acquired by Grocon in an off-market deal.
Grocon's development head Dan McLennan told The AFR there were a number of opportunities for Grocon to own and develop sites in Epping.
"This particular area is a hub of activity, close to retail, commercial and other residential development activity, which, when coupled with significant transport infrastructure investment in Sydney's north-west, all added to the appeal of acquiring this site."The project will include one, two and three bedroom apartments and 600 square metres of retail space.
